Reconnecting a vital part of Cayman's Continuum of Care
The Bridge Foundation congratulates Kimberly Febres, Clinical Supervisor, and the team at Caribbean Haven Residential Centre on the planned reopening of their women's residential programme, expected by December 2026. As our CEO Bud Volinsky told the Cayman Compass, the reopening "restores the Continuum of Care for women in recovery in the Cayman Islands." Recovery works best when every stage is connected. It's The Bridge Foundation's new pair of transitional homes for women in recovery, now under construction on Hell Road, West Bay. Since 2016, women completing treatment in Cayman have had no dedicated transitional residence to move into. Phoenix House fills that gap. It offers a safe, structured home where women can consolidate their recovery, reconne

Minister DaCosta Voices Support for the Continuum of Care
The Bridge Foundation welcomes the support of Hon. Nickolas DaCosta MP, Minister for District Administration and Home Affairs, for Cayman's Continuum of Care. A strong continuum means no one falls through the gaps between treatment and lasting recovery. Referral pathways, transitional housing, aftercare and employment all need to work together. That takes commitment from Government, service providers, employers and the wider community alike. As a service partner within the co

The Caymanian Journal has covered the story in full. Since our last women's home closed in 2016, women leaving treatment in Cayman have had few safe housing options. Phoenix House will provide the structured, supportive next step that helps recovery last. Because we own the site, these homes will be a permane
