Reconnecting a vital part of Cayman's Continuum of Care
The Bridge Foundation congratulates Kimberly Febres, Clinical Supervisor, and the team at Caribbean Haven Residential Centre on the planned reopening of their women's residential programme, expected by December 2026.
As our CEO Bud Volinsky told the Cayman Compass, the reopening "restores the Continuum of Care for women in recovery in the Cayman Islands."
Recovery works best when every stage is connected. Caribbean Haven's six-bed women's unit provides dedicated residential treatment. Phoenix House, The Bridge's new transitional home for women now under construction in West Bay, will provide the next step: safe housing, reconnection with family and a pathway back into work.
Our thanks to Kimberly and her team for their dedication. Thanks also to the Department of Counselling Services, to Hon. Katherine Ebanks-Wilks and the Ministry of Health, Environment and Sustainability, and to Sarah Bridge at the Cayman Compass for covering the story.
