Reconnecting a vital part of Cayman's Continuum of Care
The Bridge Foundation congratulates Kimberly Febres, Clinical Supervisor, and the team at Caribbean Haven Residential Centre on the planned reopening of their women's residential programme, expected by December 2026. As our CEO Bud Volinsky told the Cayman Compass, the reopening "restores the Continuum of Care for women in recovery in the Cayman Islands." Recovery works best when every stage is connected. Rehabilitation, Brain Health and Phoenix House on Daybreak
On Compass TV's Daybreak (21 September 2026), Jillian Summers of The Bridge Foundation and Dr Ryan discussed rehabilitation, brain health and Phoenix House, our new transitional homes for women in recovery. That takes commitment from Government, service providers, employers and the wider community alike. As a service partner within the co

Breaking ground on Phoenix House, Cayman's first women's recovery residence in a decade
On 18 September, The Bridge Foundation broke ground on Phoenix House: two transitional homes for women in recovery from addiction, on land we own on Hell Road, West Bay. The Caymanian Journal has covered the story in full. Since our last women's home closed in 2016, women leaving treatment in Cayman have had few safe housing options. Phoenix House will provide the structured, supportive next step that helps recovery last. Because we own the site, these homes will be a permane
