Rehabilitation, Brain Health and Phoenix House on Daybreak
On Compass TV's Daybreak (21 September 2026), Jillian Summers of The Bridge Foundation and Dr Ryan discussed rehabilitation, brain health and Phoenix House, our new transitional homes for women in recovery.
Addiction is a health condition that affects the brain, and recovery from it is a process, not an event. The brain needs time to heal after treatment. That period is when people are most vulnerable, and when stable housing, structure and peer support count most.
This is exactly the gap Phoenix House is designed to fill. It will be the first women's recovery residence in Cayman since 2016, giving women a safe place to consolidate their recovery and rebuild their lives.
Thank you to Dr Ryan for sharing his expertise, and to Compass TV for giving these conversations a platform.
