Inside Phoenix House: a new home for women in recovery
Our CEO Bud Volinsky and Aftercare Manager Emma Powell joined Cayman Compass for an in-depth conversation about Phoenix House. It's The Bridge Foundation's new pair of transitional homes for women in recovery, now under construction on Hell Road, West Bay.
Since 2016, women completing treatment in Cayman have had no dedicated transitional residence to move into. Phoenix House fills that gap. It offers a safe, structured home where women can consolidate their recovery, reconnect with family and work, and build lasting independence. As Aftercare Manager, Emma explains how the homes connect with ongoing aftercare and mentorship. Bud sets out the bigger picture and what's still needed to open the doors.
Construction is funded. Our focus now is securing the operating funding to run the homes sustainably. If you or your organisation would like to be part of this, we'd welcome the conversation.
Thank you to Cayman Compass for giving the project such thoughtful coverage.
